    You’ve probably noticed that things look a little different around here!

    We’ve just launched our most significant update of the Dataro platform yet. This next evolution of Dataro is designed to help you run targeted, multichannel campaigns that meet each donor with the right message, in the right channel, at the right time.

    Here’s what’s new:

    1. Our user interface has been streamlined for intuitive use 💪

    We’re making it easier than ever to use Dataro to build audiences and launch campaigns, with an improved platform design that supports your core workflows. Dataro’s new design puts your donor audiences front and center, to help you quickly identify and take action on fundraising opportunities. Explore the platform to see for yourself, or take a guided tour here.

    2. You can now fully build and segment targeted audiences directly in Dataro 🎯

    With our latest updates to the Audience Builder tool (previously called List Builder), you can now build fully customizable donor lists directly in Dataro. Whether you’re starting from scratch and replicating the same list filters that you might use in your CRM, or starting with an AI-segmented Smart Audience and customizing it to your preferences, we’re making it easier than ever to identify and target the right donors with every campaign.     3. We've added new AI donor models for enhanced fundraising personalization 🤝

    Targeting each donor with the right message at the right time just got a little easier. Dataro’s Future Giving model looks 5 years into the future to predict the long term value of each of your donors, helping guide your stewardship strategies and priorities.

    For organizations with an active email marketing connection, the First Gift model identifies email subscribers who are ready to convert to donors, and Interest Areas identifies the content themes that resonate most for each donor based on their interactions with your emails.

    4. Turning insights into action is easier than ever 💡

    Building your audience is just the beginning of what you can do in Dataro. Whether you’re using an AI-segmented Smart Audience or a custom-built list, you’ll now find an enhanced menu of options for taking action, including pushing the list directly to digital advertising platforms, sending the list back to your CRM (for Salesforce and Raiser’s Edge NXT users), or drafting personalized content with our new and improved AI content assistant.

  5. New donor model: Future Giving 🔮

    New Feature

    Prioritize donor stewardship efforts, build lookalike advertising audiences for donor acquisition, and more with the new Future Giving model in Dataro!

    Take a peek 5 years into your organization's future, and see a projection of each donor's total giving, in tiers of <$500k, $500-$1k, $1k-$5k, $5k-10k, $10k-$25k, $25k-$100k, and >$100k.

    Uncover new information about your donors' preferences and motivations with Interest Areas, now available in beta!

    Interest Areas is an AI-powered tool built to help you understand the type of email content that resonates most with each of your donors. Learn more about using the Interest Areas tool in the Dataro Knowledge Base, here.

  7. Convert email subscribers to donors with the First Gift model!

    Converting existing supporters to donors is significantly more affordable than acquiring a brand new giver - but how do you determine which subscribers to target with a conversion campaign?

    Dataro's new First Gift model identifies the contacts on your email list who are most ready to make their first donation, categorized in tiers of cold, cool, warm, and hot. 🔥

    Supporters classified as "hot" are likely to yield a positive ROI from inclusion in a conversion campaign, while warm and cool donors may benefit from additional nurture efforts. Those classified as "cold" are unresponsive and may indicate data hygiene concerns such as bounced emails.

    The First Gift model requires that Dataro is able to access your organization's email data, either through integration with Mailchimp or an eligible CRM. Ready to connect your email data? Contact your Customer Success Manager to get started! 📧

  8. Introducing: Forecasting in Dataro 📈

    Creating yearly budgets that balance planned spend with expected revenue can be particularly difficult when fundraising income may be variable throughout the year.

    Forecasting in Dataro is a series of interactive data models that offer the ability to predict fundraising revenue for the year ahead, as well as the opportunity to explore the potential impacts of investing in major giving, recurring giving, and one-time giving.

    Forecasting is currently in a Beta release - if you would like to try it out, please contact your Customer Success Manager. This feature will be rolled out to all customers in the coming months.

  9. New Notification Option: Saved List Alerts 📩

    Easily stay up-to-date on your donors with new email alerts for Saved Lists.

    Subscribe to a Saved List to receive weekly notifications highlighting new donors who have been added to the list. Saved List Alerts make it easy to turn AI donor predictions into action, by notifying you of new donors with high propensities for major gifts, midlevel giving, planned giving, and more.

    Save any list and simply turn on notifications in the action menu to get started!

  10. CRM Integration: Virtuous

    New Feature

    Virtuous and Dataro are joining forces to offer nonprofits best-in-class solutions for activating donor data and personalizing donor journeys.

    By evaluating thousands of multichannel donor interaction data points stored within Virtuous, Dataro’s AI decodes the signals that donors are sending and recommends the best possible responses. We help fundraisers quickly understand who is most likely to give, when they’re likely to give, and through which channel they’re most likely to respond.
